Charitable IRA Rollover!
If you are 70 ½ or older temporary legislation allows you to make cash gifts totaling up to $100,000 per year from your traditional or Roth IRA to qualified charities without incurring income tax on the withdrawal. This is good news for people who want to make a charitable gift during their lifetime from their retirement assets, but have been discouraged from doing so because of the income tax penalty. The current provision is effective for tax years 2008 and 2009 only.

REI has granted funds for Amon Basin trials, Amon Basin kiosks and Tools for trail work.

Areva has donated over $1500 to TGA projects.
Kiona Winery hosted our Annual Celebration in 2007-2008. They have respected the land forms and native plants with their building design.
PNNL donated $2,000 to the Amon Basin Community Project and 1,000 hours to Amon Basin.
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has granted funds to the Duportail launch, Tapteal Bend Restoration and Amon Creek water quality study.
National Park Service granted a Rivers Trail Conservation Assistance grant for regional planning in the Tri City area identifying open space and recreational opportunities.
TPL guided TGA through the Amon Creek natural Preserve project and donated $10,000 for stewardship for the property.
Hedges Family Estate has hosted our Annual Celebration and donated wine to our silent auction.
Bonneville Power Administration granted funds for restoring Tapteal Bend.
Cougar Crest donated wine to our wine auction.
Chandler Reach Winery donated to Wine Tasting Auction.
Lamb Weston donated one half of their Columbia Cups hat sales to TGA.
