Woodward Scholarship
The Pamela and Scott Woodward Conservation Scholarship was created by Tapteal Greenway in 2016 in honor of the years of dedicated service to the local community by Pamela and Scott both as teachers and as active members of Tapteal Greenway. The scholarship and its endowment are managed by the Three Rivers Community Foundation.
This $2,000 merit-based scholarship supports college students (entering and current) with a demonstrated commitment to natural resources conservation through their coursework and/or community involvement.
Applicants must be a resident of Benton or Franklin County and be accepted, or currently enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited college or university in Washington State. Please see the application form for complete eligibility requirements.
2025 Scholarship Award
This year we had seven excellent candidates. As two stood out equally, we made the decision to award two scholarships.
Colin Ward, who was also our 2024 awardee, is continuing his education at Washington State University in Pullman, pursuing a major in Wildlife Ecology. Colin is from Richland.
Klara Hulick of West Richland is our other recipient. Klara is at the University of Washington in Seattle working toward a degree in Environmental Science.
Both awardees will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
